Six steps, refined

Empathize
We start with the decision, not the data. Who makes it, when, under what pressure, and what would good look like? Until we can articulate the decision in their words, we don't move.
Define
Translate the decision into measurable objectives. What's the success metric? What's the failure mode we cannot accept? Where are the constraints — regulatory, operational, ethical?
Ideate
Aggressively collaborate on solution space. Multiple approaches sketched. Tradeoffs explicit. We stress-test our own thinking before code touches a keyboard.
Prototype
A working prototype in weeks, not quarters. End-to-end on real data. Better to learn from a v0.1 in production than v1.0 in a deck.
Evaluate
Rigorous eval harness — accuracy, latency, fairness, cost, robustness. The harness ships alongside the solution and outlives it.
Implement
Production hardening, monitoring, governance, and handoff. We leave knowledge with your team, not dependency on ours.
